The first 4 Seals described in Revelation Chapter 6 are open and have occurred and continue to this day.

These are the events foretold by John the Apostle.

1. World Conquest attempted
2. World Peace gone
3. Food shortages while some grow rich
4. Armed Conflict, Famine, Plague, attacks by wild animals

The 5th Seal will occur in Heaven and we do not know if it has occurred already or will occur soon.

5. Martyrs accounted for in Heaven

The 6th Seal will be the start of God's direct punishment of the earth. Christians may not see this. They will be taken away, likely before it starts just as Lot was removed from Sodom before its judgement.

6. World wide earthquakes & Sun goes dark

The 7th Seal is the first prophecy which shows that the Church is in Heaven. Will you be with them?

7. The Church is seen in Heaven for the first time

Signs of the End Times

END TIME SIGNS

1. False Bible teachers would be money hungry. They would be smooth talkers, have many followers, and slur the Christian faith (2 Peter 2:1-3)

2. Homosexuality would be increasingly evident at the end of the age (2 Timothy 3:3)

3. Earthquakes would be in diverse places (Matthew 24:7)

4. Stress would be part of living (2 Timothy 3:1)

5. Many wars would erupt (Matthew 24:6)

6. People would forsake the Ten Commandments as a moral code, committing adultery, stealing, lying, and killing (Matthew 24:12)

7. There would be a cold religious system, in denying God's power (2 Timothy 3:5)

8. Men would substitute fantasy in place of Christian truth (2 Timothy 4:4). This is so evident at Christmas when the birth of the Savior is lost behind the myth of Santa Claus.

9. Deadly diseases would be prevalent (Matthew 24:7). See  the 4th Seal explained

10. The fact that God once flooded the earth (the Noahic flood) would be denied (2 Peter 3:5-6). There is a mass of fossil evidence to prove this fact, yet it is flatly ignored by the scientific world because of its uncanny implication.

11. The institution of marriage would be forsaken by many (1 Timothy 4:3)

12. There would be an increase in famines (Matthew 24:7)

13. Increase in vegetarianism would increase (1 Timothy 4:3-4)

14. There would be a cry for peace (1 Thessalonians 5:3)

15. The possession of Jerusalem would be at the center of international turmoil (Zechariah 12:3)

16. Knowledge would increase (Daniel 12:4)

17. There would be hypocrites within the Church (Matthew 13:25-30)

18. There would be an increase of religious cults/false teachers (Matthew 24:11 & 24)

19. The future would seem fearful to many (Luke 21:26)

20. Humanity would become materialistic (2 Timothy 3:4)

21. There would be many involved in travel (Daniel 12:4)

22. The Christian Gospel would be preached as a warning to all nations (Matthew 24:14)

23. Jesus said Christians would be hated "for His name's sake" (Matthew 24:9)

24: And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. (Luke 21:25-26).

25: Youth would become rebellious. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy (2 Timothy 3:2)

26: Men would mock the warning signs of the end of the age saying, "for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." (2 Peter 3:4). The Bible even reveals their motivation, they love lust (verse 3). They fail to understand that a day to the Lord is as a thousand years to us. God is not subject to the time that He created. He can flick through time as we flick through the pages of a history book. The reason He seems to be silent, is because He is patiently waiting, not willing that any perish, but that all come to repentance.

  1. It should be noted that while 2 Timothy 3:3 does not refer specifically to homosexuality, it does refer to "unnatural affection" which is taken to mean deviant sexual relations in general. This list, provided from a friend, is, by all measures accurate when taken into the context of our times.

    1. I'm gay, and Christian, am I doomed.

    2. In short no, not in my view. We are all sinners and our lifestyle is not what saves us. It is Jesus who saves us. I have sinned and come short so am I doomed? No, my acceptance of Jesus as my Saviour and Lord is my salvation. Do I try not to sin? Yes. I hope this answers your question.

    3. Read Romans 1: 25-28 It's speaks about homosexuality. Then you will understand it. A little better. I'm a sinner. I'm gonna let God direct my pass. I'm not better than anybody else.

    4. Also in accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you must also be a doer of his Holy Word. When you accept Jesus into you're life and I mean "REALLY" accept him, you will become NEW meaning you will desire the ways of the Lord and not the ways of the flesh and your old self. You will be convicted of anythings that are not of Jesus. In Matthews 7:13-23, it talks knowing a tree that bears good fruit and a tree that bears bad fruit,in saying that all i am saying is that as Christians we must bear good fruit and live according to the Word of God.

  2. There is such a thing as constructive fear, and is called a "healthy fear" This "healthy fear" should compel us to repent, believe, and be baptized. I do not fear these events unfolding. I am confident that I, and all who believe in Jesus as Saviour and Lord, will be saved. If you do not share this confidence, look in the section"How can I be saved? Jesus will save me". You can download, for absolute free, the sinner's prayer and you can be saved. I hope you will join me if you have not done so already

    2. You have some good information on your blog but where do you get the idea of the sinner's pray? It is not found in the Bible. The question that was asked by the Philippian Jailer In Acts 16 "What must I do to be saved?" was met with "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ" but then the word of the Lord was taught to the jailer for an explanation of what that meant.

    3. The Word of the Lord was indeed taught to the jailer for him to understand his salvation. The Sinner's prayer incorporates much of the explanation into the prayer so a person can understand the process they are entering. I too believe "believe in Him and thou shalt be saved"

  3. With all my heart, I believe His return is near. I see how satan is at work here in American, in the church, marriages etc. But there are some things that really confirms it in my spirit beyond reading the Holy Bible and that is some very clear and vivid dreams of the seccond coming. No one cant tell me different. I believe and pray frequently for him to keep me holy and not be slack in sharing the word. Lord, show us what to do each day.

  8. I have been saved and am a true believer in our Christ our Father and the kingdom of heaven. However, I have never been baptised. My immeadate family wasn't very religious so I was never taught and proceeded on my own as a child to ride a bus to church on Sundays. Still I am not very knowledgeable in most areas of the bible but I am reading all the time. So does me not being baptised keep me from going to heaven?

  10. I had a VERY vivid dream that Satan came to earth pretending to be God and everyone but me believed him so he burned my house down with pink balls of fire that exploded. I ran far away from there, all the way to Mount Zion but there were sinners everywhere. I also kept seeing the number 2403. I'm kind of confused. Is this some kind of prophecy?!

    1. It is true that Satan presents himself as the Angel of Light, and it is likely true that you have a desire to be in Zion while recognizing there are sinners everywhere. It is not a prophecy however, but it is an expression of your innermost desire and your fear of the evil one. Don't be afraid of he who cannot harm you. You are the child of God and holder of His promise to save you and redeem you. You and I will see Him soon and be delivered soon.

  12. If I was baptised as a infant do I need to be re•baptised?
I have accepted Jesus as my personal lord and saviour and look towards his return

    1. Baptism is a sign to those that we know that we are committed to Christ. It is a statement of faith. It is not a requirement for salvation. If I were baptised as a child, I would want to claim my baptism as something I did, not my parents. That is your call, but my advice is that you would not regret an adult baptism

  13. Thank you Mr. Brown for putting the word out there for those of us who seek information regarding the return of Christ. I am a widow that has adopted a little girl and is caring for my mother. My concern is this, I do not feel like I tithe enough to my church though I do give offerings. I am the sole provider in my home though my mother does contribute groceries. I give in other areas..as I am a teacher...I try to give to my students as well as to those in need. Just wondering if I am doing good diligence with what God has given me.

    ReplyDelete
  14. We give according to what we have. Tithe is not meant as a tax. In the New Testament we are released from the law because Christ fulfilled the law. Our offerings as Christians are our expression of our love for our Lord based on our ability to give. It sounds like you are doing a great deal and doing what you can. Blessings
